It can be fitted to existing manually operated doors without the need for structural modifications or building work.   The drive system and electronic control unit are built in and there are no complex cabling operations.   Passport is a very safe system and can be combined with photocells, safety edges, passive infrared radar (RI1). The automation is fitted with an encoder-controlled   electronic obstacle detection system to invert drive in the event of accidental impact with people or objects.   Passport is fitted with an encoder-controlled self-teach function. This means that the installer does not have to manually program the opening and closing stop points   because the system does this automatically when it is operated for the first time.   TECHNICAL DETAILS   Functioning guaranteed at all times, even during power supply failures, thanks to the built-in back-up battery. The door can be fitted   with an electric lock. This is controlled automatically by Passport.   Passport consists of an operator secured to the upper door frame and an operator arm secured to the wing.      This arm is either articulated, to enable opening away from the automation position, or sliding, to enable opening towards the automation position.
